I'm Moving!

Not me--no,my blog is moving!

I'm so encouraged by the positive responses to this blog--and I love writing it--that I decided to take the plunge and buy my very own domain name (www.instantlyinterruptible.com), where I'll blog from there.

I plan to operate both sites for a while, but eventually switch over to just one of them. So if you can, check out my new site at: www.instantlyinterruptible.com It's where I'll be from now on! :)

You Know You're a Parent of Small Children When...

* You get the kids ready to leave the house, get them strapped into their carseats only to realize that you are still in your PJs.

* On the brief occasions when you are not surrounded by kids, you find yourself walking around singing or humming kids songs under your breath. ("The wipers on the bus go swish, swish swish!")

* You catch yourself spelling out adult words when in conversations with other adults, even if the kids aren't around. ("Things are tight; we're not exactly sure how we're going to pay the M-O-R-T-G-A-G-E this month.")

*You catch yourself saying ridiculous stuff like: "Do you have to pee-pee or poo-poo in the potty?" Or, "Let mama kiss your wittle boo-boo, you poor little doo-doo.")

* It takes you all day to run just one errand that would normally take 20 minutes without kids.

* When the kids wake up at 6:30 AM, you think: "Wow--I've slept in today!"
